I'm about to start college soon, and some of my classes are far apart with only 10 min to get to each class. I thought of getting a bike, but it would take up time finding a place to lock it up. Does anyone have any other ideas on what I could use to get to my classes quickly?

Next time when you schedule your classes, don't schedule them so close together! Give yourself extra time between classes!

Other than that, just do the best you can to get there on time. I am sure there will be others coming in late also.

I bike all the time at UCSB. What you should do is before school starts, explore the campus and get to know the bike paths, plus know the locations of the parking racks.

Do a practice run and time how long it actually takes you to get from on building to the next. From there, you can adjust it according to pedestrian traffic, etc. If in fact you attend a large campus, a bike may become your best option.

A car, your feet, or a bike. Most colleges have a place to lock up your bike outside of each building.

A molecular transporter would be good, too bad they're hard to come by :)

You could try a folding bike, this could easily be carried in and left by the door. Here's a link with some examples.

Bikes are awesome and they don't take time to lock up! A minute tops. Other ideas would be a skate board, scooter, electric scooter...I'd go with the bike idea though.

Do you know those shoes with built in wheels? I'm not sure if they would help but they look faster. Or you can get one of those little scooters like the Razor. It may fit in your bag. Good luck, hope you come up with a solution.

A lot of college students use bikes. They have a lot of bike racks.

Golf cart? Skateboard? Those rollerskate shoes?

You just have to get a shot of espresso and let those legs do all the work.
