Hello. - I think the most I have found was a $20.00.

I was working in a bowling alley and when I went to clean up by the lanes I found a wallet with $500.00. At first I put the wallet under the counter so that know one knew where it was. I was working alone doing the cleaning of the building. I did not check the wallet at that time, but when I did there was $500.00 inside. I was very tempted to take it, but thought that the person who lost it needed the money more than I did. All IDs were also in the wallet. I did get a call and when the person came in I ask for something to make sure it was their wallet. After proving their ID I gave them the wallet, but to my surprise the person gave me a $50.00 reward for not taking the money, because it was for the house payment.
