Get more than one opinion, these cars tend to leak from the preasure hose, also if it is the pump, maybe just the front seal can be replaced, best way to check this is to clean the area, add dye and look for the leak with the engine running and a UV light. either way it is not going to be cheap, you have one of the most exspensive P/S systems to repair. THERE ARE PLENTY OF DIFFERENT POWER STEERING FLUIDS THAT HAVE A STOP LEAK ADDITIVE IN THEM BUT UNLESS THE LEAK IS VERY SMALL IT MORE THEN LIKELY WON'T STOP THE LEAK, I WOULD DIFFIDENTLY GET A SECOND OPINION OR EVEN A THIRD BUT IT IS SOMETHING YOU WANT TO GET FIXED, IF ITS A CRACKED PUMP THEN THERE ISN'T ANY FIX BUT TO REPLACE IT IF ITS JUST A HOSE LEAKING LIKE THE PRESSURE HOSE THEN YOU CAN JUST REPLACE THE HOSE AND BE ON YOUR WAY.

try getting some Lucas power steering additive. That usually stops smaller leaks.

if the pump is cracked, there's nothing you can do. you may want to get a 2nd opinion, maybe the first guy wants to charge you a lot, but it might actually just be a hose or gasket.

but, this is incredibly dangerous so either way you should get it fixed ASAP.

If you're lucky, it's just a bad Oring at the flared end of the hose that connects to the pump.

Cheap, and easy.

If not.............uhhhhhh good luck
