O.M.G!! I KNOW they didn't actually do it for real!! Geez!! But how did they feel about doing it, anyway? Aren't there any interviews?! I heard it was uncomfortable for Heath, but Jake was intrigued by it and enjoyed it!

You want a truthful answer - how can we know how they felt doing that scenes? I'm not Jake, Heath, Anne or Michelle. Sorry.

They are professional actors, it's all just part of the story. Your question could also read "How did Christian Bale feel putting on the Batman costume?" Just part of the movie. As for the nudity, if they weren't comfortable, they wouldn't have done it.

Judging from how much money they probably all made from that movie, I'll bet their personal feelings are irrelevant to their careers. People will do pretty much anything for the demands of fame. The age of movie stars with morals is long gone!

Well I would think that they would have to turn off there sensors, man, that was an intense movie. So many parts, good a** acting I tell you , because I felt through out that movie. I think I was strictly business and it took a lot of focus on there part!!

Preface: This was a job. They played pretend, but challenging roles. Did Anthony Hopkins feel funny about playing Hannibal Lecter removing the top of the FBI agent's skull? They're provocative scripts — not safe redundant theme movies. Do wrestlers & football players feel funny about close physical contact? A job.
1. I think that it was an honest story about that time in history for Gay people.
2. It showed the constrast in personalities, broke the ridiculous stereotypes (i.e. no two heterosexual men are the same, nor are two homosexual men the same). They did what many Gay men did to survive — marry to avoid the ostracism of society.
3. What was saddest is that had society been accepting, instead of afraid of ghosts, no one would have to have been hurt emotionally. The wives wouldn't have married men not emotionally available to them, and the men could have gone their way and had a nice life together.
4. Social oppression hurts everyone. No one would have suffered had society accepted their love.

You know that they must have been thinking"Oh ****"
I can imagine them reading over the script...
I gotta ,..what? With a hot dog? on a ranch?
Reverse cowgirl scene at the barn?
Hey! Who wrote this script anyway.?Wasn't Rupaul available?
How much does the movie pay?..
I'll take it.

I don't think that it bothered Heath Ledger because he's an adult and he knows that it's acting. He was showing his booty. Plus, he didn't really do the other guy in the butt, it's called acting. It's just a movie, so threatening to hurt Michelle wasn't real, it was acting. It seems as if you're a little too caught up in this movie and you may be forgetting that it's just that, a movie. None of this was real. These people knew what they were getting into for this movie, it's their craft. They weren't forced into it. Heath Ledger didn't threaten Michelle Williams, his character threatened hers.
