I remember when he was on the cover of Entertainment Weekly around the time Big Daddy came out (1999) where they had an article about what a genius he is and that his movies are sooo hilarious. Then THIS summer, also in EW, there was a quarter page review of the movie Click and they went on about how tired his "same old routine of a man who can't grow up" has become.
I know the industry is fickle, but i find it interesting how in only 7 years you can go from writing your own ticket to "don't call us, we'll call you".
Your thoughts?
By the way, I'm not knocking Adam Sandler. I personally loved his SNL days!

I still love Adam Sandler! I love his albums and his movies. I don't care if he is being juvenile or doing something more adult. The only thing he has done that I didn't really care for was "Punch Drunk Love" and that is the one that the critics hailed the most. Of course, you know what he said about critics (in Big Daddy) though, so there you go. The industry is incredibly fickle, but a real fan is loyal and I don't let anyone tell me what is funny. I decide what I like by myself. I loved his SNL days too -- Gap girls, especially.

I love Adam Sandler. He is so funny and his movies always have the best music in them!

Hi! I like Adam Sandler. One of my fav movies he did I think was called Nicky(?) that was his character's name anyway in the movie....lol :)

Adam is great. I like his movies but most of all his songs. His 'Ode to my car', 'thanksgiving' and 'macarena' songs are very funny i listen to them when i'm bored. Makes me laugh my boredom away... haha 'fvck the macarena'... haha
