I remember when he was on the cover of Entertainment Weekly around the time Big Daddy came out (1999) where they had an article about what a genius he is and that his movies are sooo hilarious. Then THIS summer, also in EW, there was a quarter page review of the movie Click and they went on about how tired his "same old routine of a man who can't grow up" has become.
I know the industry is fickle, but i find it interesting how in only 7 years you can go from writing your own ticket to "don't call us, we'll call you".
Your thoughts?
By the way, I'm not knocking Adam Sandler. I personally loved his SNL days!
