the ncaa does not give titles, the Coaches' title is the Coaches' poll title, not the NCAA. The same with the AP and bcs, although the NCAA didn't grant them, Alabama is tops in 1A with 12 NCs, Michigan and Notre Dame tied with 11, and Oklahoma has 7. Minnesota has 6. Miami has 5. Also "the most championships" doesnt mean your the best, it means 1 team that year was probably superior to every team in their conf. and the pac 10 traditionally has one maybe two good teams every year, whereas the big 12, big 10, and sec is loaded every year top to bottom. if it wasnt for usc the past few years the pac 10 would be on the same level as the sun belt

Well since the East plays other TEAMS, instead of one team in the confrence having basically a cupcake schedule in it's own confrence, the East teams work harder to win their division. That means they are WORN OUT by the end. For the Pac-10 it is usually about the 2nd or 3rd REAL game they play that season, so they are stronger for it more ready for it. They aren't still worn out from playing tough all season.

Because the schools - the Ivy League - are older than the Pac 10 who are all about 100 to 150 years old.

the Pac 10 is wack...really how many of their teams could survive in the Big 12, SEC, or even the Big East? USC has been the exception but come on...UCLA? Oregon? those teams were weak and it's been proven. Hell Oklahoma beat Oregon with a "down" team last year.

Every team thinks they're special. I live on the East coast so of course I think they're more important than the others. I follow the SEC....whether they're any good or not.

Look at the SEC this year, 5 teams top 25 and two more recieving votes...they lose to each other and get less chances to play for the national champion ship..and i dont think they have the most championships anyway..alabama has 16 by themselves...not to mention tenn, LSU, Florida and others...so i will have to look at your facts...

I know it's we are "SO GOOD"...it's like that typical east-coast snobery even though Pac 10 is twice as good

Put any of those teams in the SEC and see how many wins they get. They all play so many pushover teams they can't help but win.
