i am in the process of adoting a child, now this child is relatedt to my husband and the family is not so fond of me , i am not trying to be mean i just want to help out this child and nothing more, well i can so why shouldnt i? i mean they have made no efforts towards the children. should i continue my effort or give up? i dont want to give up !

I think it is wonderful that you want to give this child a home. Are you going to love and care for this child with all your heart? Then please don't give up! You keep on! Don't let this family that's not fond of you push me around or let them control what I know is the right thing to do! I would hope that they would appreciate you and your husband giving this child a good home, especially since the baby is related to their family.
Basurk....sounds like they all ready are. You keep your sanity, and do what your heart tells you to! You sound like you have your mind all ready made up, and I think it's great. Children need loving, safe, and healthy homes, they didn't ask to be born. Continue on with the process, and let his family stew.....You are doing the right thing!
