I would likwe to know the real History of the CPI (consummer price indexes) all around the world ?

England is the rel mother of this instrument... But in 1910-1914 all over the world the Cost of living was the most frequent question.. USA, France, Germany, Italy, Romania etc.

CPI is not used universally. The basket of goods that CPI measures also varied from country to country, for example, the Japanese CPI recently added flat screen TV to their basket of consumer goods.
