I got my tounge ring around january of this year. Now i have a job that requires me to take it out for about 7 hours every night or more. Everytime i put it back in its kinda bleeds and feels really tight and sore. Is that normal or is there something i can do?

Umm, maybe that's a sign that you shouldn't have had your tongue pierced in the first place.

Stop wearing it altogether, at least until you have another job. Every time you cause bleeding, you are encouraging the growth of scar tissue and giving potential infections a chance. This is why you are experiencing inflammation.

go to the peicing studio and see what can they do. they might give you a serum for the pain and an antiflamable spray. good luck, and avoid pulling and taking it out all the time.
