If a true friendship mean a Good Friend,
so This is what Buddha said:
how to distinguish good friends from bad friends. There are four types that are not really your friends, but will make your life miserable in the long run:
1. The leech who appropriates your possessions
2. The bull-shitter who manipulates you
3. The boot-licker who flatters you
4. The party-animal who encourages you to do the same
A good friend, on the other hand, is one who...
1. is always ready to help you
2. is steady and loyal
3. provides good advice
4. is sympathetic
Another Quotes:
An insincere and evil friend is more to be feared than a wild beast; a wild beast may wound your body, but an evil friend will wound your mind.

I've become jaded, so I'd have to say no. I have a few friends, but the only people I consider my true friends are my husband and my grandma (and possibly my mom). I don't want to go on and on about my life, but let's just say true friends are almost impossible to find. It's like you always try to be a good friend and they could care less.

"Friends" are wonderful.
Then as you grow, they also grow, and move on.
Those people who you "thought" were your friends, start
their own lives... especially when they gain a boyfriend, or girlfriend.
It's funny, but "real friends" as you now perceive them...
will disappear real soon.. through no fault of your own.
"True Friends" then may come back to "haunt you" after the
relationship wears off...and become very needy.
Answer: Trust yourself.
I know this sounds selfish, perhaps crazy... but It is the truth.
Surround yourself with "New" friends...
those that understand you at this new point in
"Your Life"!

My best friend and I have been friends for over 40 years! We agree to disagree on some things. On most things we agree and we have fun together. We have been through 8 kids, 4 husbands. Our mothers passing. Ups, downs and , inbetweens We have lived together and far apart. We are a touch stone for each other. I know she is not nuts and she knows I am not nuts! We are kind of like Oprah & Gail and we are not gay or bi. We are just us!

My daughter wondered about a friend of hers and I told my daughter to stop calling her and see how long before she calls you. She never called. My daughter is a married woman.

I believe it! If you you wanna know if he/she is a true friend, when you're in trouble, do they help you? If they don't, they're not a tru friend!
