This could very well be one of the most ridiculous questions ever... and yet, I really need to know...
Is it counted as losing your virginity if you masturbate?
Just need to know... since, (I've posted here before), I was reluctant to do so, thinking it was wrong... and I still am hesitant, but now I don't think I can call myself clean, or even a virgin anymore...
Err, that is, unless someone can clear this up for me. Thanks...

Lets take a moment and just visit about sex. You are worrying first about masturbation. Masturbation is normal and is even healthy for you. You should feel comfortable masturbating as often as you want it helps to releave sexual arousal which you should be experiencing a lot of at a young age. It relaxes you, it feels really good, and it helps with your sexual development, and it is the safest sex there is. You can not get any kind of STD from masturbation and you can not get a girl pregnant from masturbation. As for virginity. You loose your virginity only when you have sex with a girl. There is no way to tell if a man has had sex or masturbates so the only way we know when a male has lost his virginity is for the person to tell us. In a woman there is a flap of skin called the Hyman that partly covers the vagina when a man inserts his penis into her vagina that skin flap is broken (the woman bleeds) and she has lost her virginity. There is also no way to tell if a man masturbates. You need not feel guilty about masturbating. Masturbation is not mentioned in the old testament or the new testament. Ministers that preach against masturbation have no scriptural bases for it other than their own personal attitudes. Again masturbation is not mentioned period in the bible. Masturbation or solo sex is a form of sex and as such should be kept personal and private. There are nor harmful side affects to masturbating and when the time comes as you get older you will masturbate less and when you find a wife you may give it up totally. So do not worry, enjoy your sexuality, and until you have sex with a girl you are still a virgin.

If that was true then every guy and girl on this planet would have lost theirs at a very young age. You can only lose your virginity by having sex. Now the definition of virgin is having not been penetrated by a male organ. Now, going by that, that makes me a virgin then.

ur still a virgin kinda.i mean if one asks say yes only thing that is different is your vagina is more opened meaning u have lost your hymen. if u don't kno what that is u can look up pics on yahoo search. but u can also loose your hymen from working out or even usuing tampon. don't stress it masturbations is good nothing to be emb about. n it helps you kno yourself before jumpin nto sex quickly. mast. is much better than sleeping around/much safer. have a great day!

I think usually you have to be with someone else to consider it intercourse. I don't know that by all standards you are still considered clean. Some religions think that masturbation is almost as bad or as bad as sex out of wedlock, so I guess that would all depend on your beliefs.

you think that is a silly quetion i think it is realy a smart question and i realuy like to manswer this :
after starting hand practise you starting ejectualation of sperms but you are not having a intercourse and the sperma are nt getting for production in vagina and they are not out due to sexual contact , so you dont loose verginity byt masterbution . ex. girls sometimes break their thin wall inside vagina during sit ups or games ex., which is normaly get out during there first sex and blood comes . so you cant balim them that they are not vergin ?

No. In order to lose your virginity you must have a partner. I don't think there is any man that doesn't do that. They just don't talk about it.

I think this is mostly what you feel, but in my opinion, you don't technically lose your virginity until you actually have sexual intercourse with someone.
