our teacher told us to write a diary everyday but there is nothing happening today, what should I write?

Ya last year my teacher made me do that too and nothing happened.Well just write something short and boring that happened today.Like here is an example...
Dear Diary,
Today nothing much was going on.It was a pretty boring day,nothing happened.I was only tring to think about what to write in my diary.Well and this is what I got.Short,Sweet,and to the point.Have a nice day!!!

Even if you don't have any memorable event happening on that day, keep writing about what you did since morning.You can't say nothing happened. Your teacher advised you to memorise everything of what you did everyday. It boosts you memory.

Right that nothing really happened today .. maybe about a conversation you had .. the weather, write a poem, a thought, a question.

even if you have nt done anything , you must write a diary everyday its important.
it helps to keep a check of what you, not only did but also what are your plans . are you going towards that direction.
it also helps in later reference .

There is always something happening. If you read in the paper about a family who dies in a auto accident, write about how you feel about it.
