my son is now 19 months old and he has not had a shot since 6 months and he has been fine, i didn't like the thought of him getting poked and all that so i just didn't do it and i havent been told anything from his Dr. or anyone and he is on medicade and they are jerks when it comes to that and they have not said anything, so i think its ok, not positive but I'm sure it is ok!

I'm not exactly sure on whether or not its a law to have them get shots, but I know what you are going through. I have two children of my own. One is all done with her shots until next year cause she'll be four years old. But my youngest has only had her birth shot/shots. I don't see any harm in waiting until they are older, but I know for sure that your child or anyone's child has to have their shots up to date before preschool.

No that will not be a good idea to wait because even if you let your baby stay in the house that baby can get very sick from things and micoorganism in the house. Please don;t wait you won't be hurting her you will be hurting that baby and if you don't want to see your baby cry then you should leave out the room when he/she get their shots and then be there to comfort your baby when it is all done cause believe me that baby won't remember if you are in that room or not but she/he will remember if you are hugging or comforting her/him

its better to get them at the right ages because she has low imusanstion so shots help her not get sick and yes it is the law to get them if you do not you can get in trouble and if you dont get the shots she can be taken away from you and shots do not hurt them they only hurt for like not even 5minutes and it is important for their health and she will not be able to go to school without shots so you really need to get them anyway besides THINK OF HER HEALTH AND SHE CAN BE TAKEN AWAY if you dont i would just bite the bullet and just get it over with there is really nothing to worry about she will be fine. she wont even remeber about those shots like 2 minutes later. i hope this helps.

When thinking about immunizations for my kids I had to look at the big picture...many diseases have been eradicated in this country simply because of them. Other countries still have small pox, measles, and tuberculosis, while in this country these are nearly gone. I didn't want to have my kids suffer either, but it was better than them actually getting the measles. I had their dad take them in for me, you might try this, Happy parenting.
