Start your own country and elect yourself president, or dictator if that's what you prefer. You can name it Howyozzzdoinibia, and you can make your own type of currency and even have your face printed on the bills. Or you can just blow all your money on booze, whatever.

I was in the same kind of boat you were about a year ago, when my great aunt passed away and left me a LOT of money. Only me, not my brothers or my mother, it was kinda of difficult, but what I did was pay off my bills, took a family vacation and then invested my money. I bought a house and even though I could have paid for it free and clear, I invested the money and the interest I am making pays my house payment.
I also put equal sums of money in trust accounts for my 3 kids, my 4 nephews and my neice. They can only use it for college, or once they are 21 -- then they can get the cash to start off their life. I did give a portion to both my brothers too.

JP Morgan always gave to charity from his wealth and served on his church board. He also stood up for hiring an African American singer at at time when that was not the popular thing. He taught his sons to do the same.
Up to you, though. Don't lose having a good heart, but maybe don't tell people about this great fortune since it seems you feel (perhaps rightly so) that people take advantage of your kindness.
