Despite some of the glib remarks, I think this is a fair question. However, in response, in my opinion human life cannot have a price tag, and no profit should come at the expense of anyone's livelihood, no matter which country they live in. I happen to believe that "human rights" applies to every human, not just Americans. So if the only motivation to wage warfare is to make a profit, then by all means that war should not occur to the same extent that corporations should not be allowed to violate human rights in order to realize a private monetary benefit.

I think peace will actually bring more profit to America. Think about it: instead of having to spend so much money for defense, the same money could be spent on education. Think about making American public schools the best in the world. Better educated citizens will be able to sustain a stronger economy at home.

Your premise is flawed. First you must prove that war is a profit seeking endeavor. Then you must rule out all other possible reasons for going to war. Finally you must prove that war is more profitable than peace. Good Luck.

peace with less profit. war actually doesn't profit us as trillions are spent on it. they claim to date, they spent 380 billion or so. they neglect to tell you ever missle we fire cost over a million dollars. 1400 rockets and missles over millions each were fired in the so called shock and awe. thats over 1.4 trillion alone.

War with more profit.
Probably not the answer you wanted but from a macroeconomic point of view it makes sense.
