Sorry dude, the reverse bungee is closed. The rope snapped some time back.

I am local so this is what I suggest. I have brought some friends on this route and they loved it.

Assuming you arrrived late morning, you can tour little india and chinatown. They are next to each other so you can have a taste of the local street selling and you can have either chinese food / indian food if you can take spicy food. In the late afternoon you can hit suntec city / raffles city to shop. At suntec, you can see the world largest fountain. Early evening you can check out the esplanade, something like the opera house but is shaped like a durian instead. The night view is great. Move down to geylang where you get the best places for food and cheap lodging.

The next day, you can check out the zoo. it won many awards and you can see a very good mixture of animals all over Asia. Tigers elephants zebras bears etc. In the afternoon, you can visit Orchard Rd, our shopping belt with brands like LV Gucci etc. There many young people there with a wide range of stuff happening and events.

I guess the next stop would be the airport. If you have 01 more day, check out sentosa. You can spend the whole day there for the attractions but it is a bit too expensive and is 'tourist trap'.

Do give me a call @ 98348596 I live near the City.

Lodging is a problem here with the major hotels here cos they are not for budget tours definitely and I won't go into details. Not every backpacker lodges are clean and available as well. And,for that kind of price (in most lodges) you may as well get a private room in one of the many love hotels here. Tho' a love hotel, their locations are usually near the amenities. Check out "Hotel 81" or "Fragrance Hotel". They have many many branches here.
You will have no problem looking for food here.Every 5 steps you make, you will find a food stall selling something. However, not every food stall is selling good food with their heart. Most food here are sold because they feel like selling food. The good food ratio is about 20%, and half are over-priced but we will still pay for them because they are good.
Since the time you are here is so short, you could just book a ferry to an offshore island at the Changi Village Ferry Terminal on the first day. Each ferry trip is only S$2. There, you will get to see the rustic side of Singapore. Vaguely, you would still be able to see how we live like in the 80s and beyond. If you dare, the locals might even tempt you into trying the King of Fruits - Durain. Try some of the seafood captured by the locals as well, tho' there might be a different price for foreigners,it is definitely fresh and delicious. You have to try the "Chilli Crab" and "Black Pepper Crab". Last ferry is at about 8pm.
Afterwhich, you might wanna go freshen up and head down to Orchard for some nightlife. Guys may wanna go to Brix at Hyatt Hotel or the Thai clubs at Orchard Towers.
Otherwise, try out Attica Too at Clarke Quay. If you dare, try some Canto pop at Babyface in One Fullerton.Attica is open till 3am except Fri and Sat till 6am. The latter is open till 5am daily. The reverse bungee is at the other corner of Clarke Quay from where Attica is.
Next day you might wanna head down to Little India (Serangoon Road) and Bugis Village (Queens Street) for some cheaper shopping. They will let you test out your bargaining skills.
At these 2 places you will probably spend the whole day and have no more time left besides getting your **** to the airport. :)

Sentosa is not worth a visit now cos Disneyland is more fun. You may wanna go there after 2009 when the Casino is ready.

Have Fun!

U can stay at Serangoon area. The hotels there are cheap and still maintain your privacy. Food is available round the clock and food is also cheap. Mustaffa shopping centre is open 24 hours so u can easily kill time browsing and goods sold there is also cheap. Hotel should cost u less than $50/- per day. Transport is also easily available and if u are into pubbing, then u should visit Boat quat, where most of the fun takes place. If u are looking for cheaper lodging than the above, then they are available at Bencoolen Street. If u need , any other details, drop me a message, and I will try.

hi there maybe u wld like to go to the following website
http://www.gmax.co.nz/pricepackages.html, its 35SGD per trip for this.

the cheapest hotel if u dun mind will be those backpackers hotel...else for a cheap hotel i think it will be Hotel 81, which is quite famous here.

http://www.hotel81.com.sg/

there is once branch which is near spore so call red light district(geylang)..however its rather safe actually and its near many good food.

else there is another hotel near bencoolen..its near bugis also which u can go and shop at nite, its like a nite market of spore.

juz 2 days 1 nite is rather short, so i suggest u spend the time to eat(geylang, chinatown) and shop(orchard,bugis)..not much of a sight seeing to do haha..not enough time also lah...
