I think because there seems to be a higher concentration on how women should present themselves via the media. I still think there are quite a number of men who are concerned with brand names as well though.

I don't look at the brands. I look at the product itself and if it looks good and fits me, then I'll get it... I'm not going to see or feel the brand, but I will see the clothes and feel the clothes when I'm wearing them ;-)

Because women are shallow, ego-centric, and greedy.
I often tell people about why men look at women; "It's because the women want men to look at them. If they didn't, they wouldn't dress and act and primp like they do."

Honestly, because we don't really give a shlt about what others think of us while women are very competative with each other. Not saying in a bad way, just our nature.

Those women are finding their self esteem in THINGS. Men don't TYPICALLY find their self esteem in clothing.

the quality is better and therfore since it would last longer we would not have to beg our men for money to buy more things..
