1. Lebanon never kidnapped any soldiers. The 2 soldiers entered Lebanese boundaies and thats why they were arrested. I believe the same would have happened if any soldiers transgress borders.
2. The destruction by Israel was definitely not to secure release of its soldiers, but just to invade more into Lebanon

The war had nothing to do with these 2 soldiers....it would be stupid for israel to lose another 118 soldiers (some were from the Golani brigade their "best trained" commandos) to secure the release of 2 reservists when they could have done a prisoner swap and got their boys back without shedding blood on either side. This war was planned a long time ago, the capture of the 2 soldiers was just the excuse for them to attack....just like the weapons of mass destruction excuse the U.S and Britain used to invade Iraq.

They didn't get the solders back.
I am guessing that now they are going to try to neggotiate for them. The killing was showing Hezbollah, that bullying Israel would NOT work, and that kidnaping Israeli soldiers should NOT become a habit. If America took, over a month long period, what Israel took for 2 days, we would be so pissed.

The Israel government and military are nothing but war-mongers. Israel has been kidnapping Lebanese and Palestinian people and keeping them in jail without trial, for years. So they had no moral grounds to begin a war. Plus they repeatedly attempt to murder members of the democratically elected Palestinian government.
Will they get their soldiers back? Who cares.

hezbollah admits to having them so there is no alleged. they also said they won't give them back until their terms are met. israeli told them the way the u.s. should is we don't take crap from oneone. israeli went in after the hezbollah as lebanon is to scared even with their 70,000 soldiers to kick hezbollah out. hezbollah is the worst of all terror groups. talibans, everyone is scared of them as they are terrorist mercenaries who will kill anyone for money and weapons, which iran and syria supplied. lebanon has been in bed with hezbollah for many years. thats why many died as they set up in homes, hospitals, schools, churches, everywhere. over 6,000 hezbollah had control over the southern border of lebanon. july 12th they sent over 50 rockets into israeli and came over killing 8 and kidnapping two soldiers and israeli fought back.

Yes, all they need to do is release civilian woman and children from jail. The Jewish soldier prisoners would be released.
