Yes-- sacrificing one self is the ultimate sign of pure love for someone else-- it means you love that person more than life itself-- more than yourself.

Without question I know I would.
Back when I was a deputy, I did risk my life to save three kids. I was the first at a house fire and the mother said her three kids were in the house. I ran in and got them out. They were hiding in their bedrooms. I still to this day do not know why the mom left the house without the kids, but my mother instinct kicked in and I actually ran in there without even thinking. Lucky for me, the house wasn't fully engulfed and it sounds worse than it really was, but judging by the smoke, you would have thought I was crazy running in there.

I would die for most of my friends and all of my family. If they died because of me or if there was something that I could have done to save them from harm but I didn't I might as well be dead. As for a boyfriend, I find it extremely romanticly sad if he died for me. I would be emensily sad, of course, but just to know someone loved me that much would make me reconcider losing all hope for humanity and life itself.

that depends on how you put it. If i were to sacrifice myself for a friend, family i love etc to save their live, i would definitely do so. If you're saying for a guy who did wrong against me or something just to prove my love, no way!

i tought about this a lot. in the past i loved some people but they r gone...so i decide that only person i would give my life for is my mom. person who is willing to give their life to give YOU a life on your first breath...
