After attending private school for my entire childhood/teen years I've found that you cannot alter the skirt, shirt, pants, etc. Administration can be a problem. What you can do is play up your face with some pretty complementary makeup or hair. If everyone is wearing the same thing they will not be paying attention to your clothing. Also some really cute shoes of your choice are another option. Don't make the clothing ill-fitting. :D

The key is to look put-together. Make sure your hair looks good and (I'm assuming you are a female) that your make-up is fresh. Play up the uniform with jewelry (if you are allowed to wear it) and always have on a really cool looking pair of shoes. Have confidence and you're set.

Make sure it fits you properly-schools don't tolerate them being baggy or very tight. Be sure to iron your uniform and wear a tasteful shoes. Confidence is key...rock it!

i'm in the same boat, my school has like..classic catholic school girl uniforms, haha. play it up with cute accessories, i like wearing tons of white because it always looks classy and makes your back-from-summer tan stand out like crazy. if you can, wear some really bright shoes...get like bright blue converse or something, or funky knee-high socks.

just make sure you look clean. do your hair nicely everyday. know how to accessorize too. just dont overdo it. iron your uniform so it looks nice.
