Hi.. I think that such a great and unique name.. Here some info about that name just for you from me...

ADELA
Gender: Feminine

Usage: English, Spanish, Polish, Romanian

Pronounced: a-DEL-a [key]

Originally a short form of names beginning with the Germanic element adal meaning "noble". Saint Adela was a 7th-century Frankish princess who founded a monastery at Pfazel in France. This name was also borne by a daughter of William the Conqueror.

Hopefully I can help you, I love that name..

Happy choosing and take care...

Dee

Yes, but remember they're only newborns for a little while! Make sure you like the name on a child, a teenager, and an adult. Especially as an adult. I personally think it's a nice name for all stages of life.

Adela sounds pretty, but who cares what other people think? If you like the name , i say go with it. It sounds like a strong, bold, but elegant name.
