Emulate the men AND boys who climbed out of their trenches on the Somme and WALKED into a murderous hail of machine gun, rifle, mortar and shellfire on July 1st 1916.
Wave after wave went forward although they saw and walked through the dead and wounded of preceding waves.
In the first 10 minutes of the attack 80% of the men in the lead battalion became casualties. Only twenty men of the 27th Tyneside Irish Battalion survived the assault,
This was the greatest loss of life suffered by the British Army in one day in the whole of their history.
The 34th Division alone lost 6380 men on the FIRST day of the assault.
They died that we may have our freedom.

I have to agree with the majority, rasing your child to be a good moral person. A good mum will do absolutely anything for her child, if that means dying to protect her child, she will without a second thought.

I'm not sure, if they put their mind to it, they can do anything. I think it was pretty da*n brave of the men who died going into the Towers of the WTC when they collapsed, to try to save anyone who may have been alive.
