I watched it last winter, because a friend had it. It's funny, but in a stupid kind of way. Not that the movie is poor quality, but that the charactors (intentionally) act stupid, and make the movie funny.
It focuses on Napolean, a geeky teenage kid in a small midwest town, who lives with his brother and uncle. He meets this other kid Pedro(Pay-drow), and, among other things, helps run Pedro for class president. His uncle is trying to get rich quick, and keeps on embarrasing Napolean in the proccess. In the meantime, some school dance is drawing near, and Napolean is trying to get this girls attention as well.
It's funny, and worth a watch, but I wouldn't consider it worth buying. Also, although people always seem to love it, seems half the people I know said it was stupid, while the other half thought it awesome. Rent it and decide whether it's your kind of thing.

I thought it was kind of a dumb movie. They don't really do anything. It's like just watching a normal high school kid doing normal (or below normal) high school stuff. The guy playing Napolean is funny, though. He's in Benchwarmers too, and he's an awesome dancer! It's worth watching just to say what everyone is always talking about.

I didn't think I would like this movie but I wound up loving it. It is really funny but in a off-beat type of way. The movie focuses on the central character named Napoleon Dynamite who is a bit of a social misfit and his friend Pedro whom he helps try to get elected class president. It is worth seeing for the ending alone. No spoilers, just watch it.

You can't really explain Napoleon Dynamite you have to just see it. It's basically about the life of a strange kid and his everyday life. It is absolutely hilarious and some of the best quotes have come from that movie. "You ever take that bike off of any sweet jumps?"

Its not really about anything. Just about two brothers who are very dorky but have extremely funny situations. It is worth the rent though, but only for those with sense of humours.

Rent it if you like kind of quirky type humor. But if you don`t see it you`re not really missing anything. Rent CRASH now that`s an awesome movie !!!

See it. The funniest part is when his brother knocks him off his bicycle with a football. I can't say why but I laughed until I made myself sick.
