I know we cannot get back the time in the past because it has already happened.

I think it would be wonderful to change the past because I can change anything infavorable or unwanted that already happened. For example, if one is late for work or school, then go get back the time in the past so that way one won't be late. And that would be great. Do you think so?

Have you seen the Time Machine? You cannot change the past only the future or insure that the past that became your future remains as it was according to theories I have read etc.
If you are romanticizing about the past I can tell you about the recent past with rotary dial telephones and manual type writers that I use to get my fingers stuck in ouch it hurt and I remember that. No computers with word processor programs you make a mistake no fixing it then along came white out. If you want to experience the past go to a third world country and stay with the poor like I did recently with Indians in Mexico. It was nice it was relaxing when I got sick away from a hospital from eating really rich food it was grim and miserable. And it is poor. If you can go back in the past and be better off possibly it is nicer but think about it would you rather live in a trailer with running water and a toilet or in a castle with a chamber pot? Just set your clock earilier and go to bed earlier do alot of what you need to do the night before so you can take off, make your lunch pick out your clothing wash your hair etc. I learned that long ago and LEAVE early because surely there will be a traffic jam..and take along a good book or something to do if you are early so you do not sit around bored something you enjoy so you will look forward to those few minutes like some nail polish if you are female etc. I take food...chocolate..my favorite weakness and if I am early then I can eat or drink it. If not early I can save it for later.

Why waste time and energy after something which just not possible. No going back will not work.Supposing you are late at work and push the clock back-- you may rerach in time but suppose again in next half an hour you are to recieve lottery prize of $1000000 you will not recive it beacuse you are have lost that time in going to ofice.

I do believe in time travel. If we can go forward in time by travelling faster, eventually we will be able to travel so fast that we will be able to speed up the time. I believe that the discoveries we have made is because of time travel. The future has come back to our time to help us uncover things to progress the race.

I would give 10 years of my life to correct the big mistakes in my past. Oh hell I would give 20 years of my life to fix the mistakes or just avoid making them.

Yes I would go back to the time that my boyfriend cheated on me so that I can see it with my own eyes rather than thinking it never happened even though he denies it, I want to go back to that time to see for my own eyes for piece of mine. How pathetic is this huh?

That would be great I'd go back in time and tell myself not to date my ex-husband and I would've told myself not to move to San Diego. And I would've told myself to pay attention in school because you will need the stuff, it's so much I would tell myself that I'm getting teary eyed just thinking about it...............lol

That's something I always wanted to do. I've often wondered what my parents were like when they were little and what they enjoyed doing.

No, the past is history, the future's a mystery, all we have it today, and it is a gift, that's why it's called the present.
