That sounds like me lol....
I never had to do a chore in my life, (well except for cleaning my room, which I never did until literally you couldnt walk into my room without shuffling through a 3 feet high, pile of junk, ending up breaking things, and even then I rarely did,
My parents did everything for me, gave me everything I wanted, that they were able to, I was 20 yrs old, and didnt have a clue on how to do dishes, how to work, etc,
Even in school, I never wanted to go to school, so often my parents would let me stay home and claim being sick,
so eventually I got married and you know what? It all came against me, we arent too well off, and we need to both work to pay for bills, but you know what? I'm not used to work! I can't stand having to give up fun time just for work! I hate cleaning, and no matter how bad things get, it's still so hard for me,
it's like "If I don't want to do something, I shouldnt have to, therefore most the time I don't"
I'm trying really hard to get over this, but when you've had 21 yrs to develop such bad habits, it's nearly impossible to change................. so i understand where you are coming from
my only advice is don't get discouraged, and don't give up, Just remember that it's not that the work itself is too much, or too hard, just remember that it's the fact you arent used to it you feel this way, try to think positivly about it, and remember that it's all in the attitude, how you think about it and approach it....
although if you are like me, and that still doesnt help, o.O Then just tell yourself "Tough" and force yourself to stick through it,
or you can do what I'm trying to do ^_~ try to find some sort of job that you either enjoy working , or seems fairly easy where you can still do what you want, very hard to do, but possible.........

That's where the problem emanates. You were tied at the apron's strings or coat tails of your parents. What will happen to you when and if they are gone.? Don't you want to make it on your own? Without proper educa tion, you won't find a good joy that pays good. Besides where's your pride.? Don't you want your parents to be proud of you.? Responsibility and hard work are all part of growing up, into maturity.

Grow up and take the silver spoon out of your mouth!
Your parents are responsible for your poor work ethic since they handed you everything. But you know, mommy and daddy won't be around forever and since you don't like to work, neither will the money.
Something tells me you will have a rude awakening someday.
Give something back to society instead of just taking and taking.

Why you hate it? Because the hard work has too much responsibility that you can't handle, since you seem to not have to deal with that in childhood. Trust me my friend's dad was a doctor and was spoiled, she never shoveled snow before and she was 10 then. -.- I shoveled snow at who know what age >> i was always helping anyways.

You hate hard work because you are idle and you don't take responsibility because you lack confidence.
Among these vices one good trait in you is the conscience who drove you to give an introsepction on yourself and ask this question. Kudos for that.

Well, nobody really does like hard work...that's why it's hard. And of course, it's much easier to live without responsibilities. However, ultimately the more work you put into your life the more satisfied you will be.
