The only thing a Nuclear Terrorist strike on the U.S. would do is spell an end to Fundamentalist Islam. Honestly, if some fundamentalist was able to blow up a nucelar bomb on U.S. soil you would see some scary things happen in the U.S. The liberals would fold and immediately call for blood. You'd have a unified nation FULLY mobilizing for war ala WW2.

Being as the U.S. is the biggest market for much of the world, you'd see total polarization of most of the world against the entire Middle East. It would be very very ugly. The troops already in the Middle East would most likely go a little crazy and I doubt that many rules of engagement would be honored. You think its bad over there now, if something like that happened, it would be 1000 times worse.

China and Russia would sweep into Iran and Afghanistan, partitioning off those countries into spheres of influence. Syria, Lebanon, and even Saudi Arabia would be in the cross hairs. Basically all of the middle east would be put under lock down.

In the end the U.S. democracy would survive and thrive even. The people who would truly feel the effects of a nuclear attack on the U.S. would the Arabs. There petty theocracies would be relegated to the trash bin of history and their people (those still alive and not glowing in the dark) would truly be free for the first time in over 1000 years.

Any country or group (I’m looking at you Muslims) stupid enough to use atomic weapons would accomplish nothing more then opening hunting season of there people

Look at the night of 9-11 how many Arabs were beaten and there stores burned down and the cop just looked the other way…

I would have no problem taking a truck out with a length of rope

Yes if only one city was attacked. The decimation of New Orleans from Katrina showed that the U.S. could survive without a major city, with no major affect to government function.

Up to the very end the Liberals will be making excuses for terrorist, and justifying their means.

Liberals will watch the mushroom cloud and say, "It was just a few bad muslims".

And then they will talk a bunch of crap about the crusades, and how America "forced" them to become terrorist.

It would be much like the power going out in new york. Except less scrambling to help.
