It does seem the bashers are having less success now. Should we talk as a community about how to uniformly answer these kinds of questions?

Uniformly answering anything is the worst thing that could ever happen to this place.

isn't it funny that people always use the word community when they want you to do what they want you to do ....lol

its as if its suppose to polarize us into action as a group even though said group doesn't exist in the most part
From what I have seen around here most of the bashing type behavior is either done to get attention or to get a reaction of some sort... If you don't give them what they want they will eventually give in and look elsewhere..

A toddler who is kicking and screaming in the middle of the floor throwing a tantrum will often stop and go about his business if the people around him don't feed into his negative behavior..

seems practical that it should work on teens as well as adults...

Trouble? If someone's talking bullshit, then it's bullshit. It should be treated with the disdain it deserves. I never get worked up about what somebody says. You are entitled to your opinion. I'm under no obligation to listen.

I think it's best to answer or not answer the way you feel best. Some of us may have some unique insight into what the basher is saying; others may not.

The best uniform answer to provide these troublesome meddlars is NO ANSWER.

Unanswered questions are automatically removed after 7 days - and they might get bored and stop bothering us (AS IF!).

Having said that, we'd lose a valuable source of creativity - have you seen some of the answers provided in rebuttal? LOL!
