Did it in far northern WA when my pup jumped in a river with croccodiles. I jumped in to get her out. Don't know if there were any in there at the time but knew the river as Dangerous. Quite a rush but I still have my lovely Akita by my side. Probably feel beter about saving my dog than a person too.

No, I would never do that. My life is everything. It is worth more than my beloved pet's life. I won't risk my life!!

I want to say yes but in reality, I dont think I would, I once had my dog down the beach in W, Australia., I was throwing the ball in the surf adn he was swimming out to find it. I saw on the news later that day that a shark had killed someone just a few hundred yards down from where we were playing. Would I have gone to his rescue if the shark had of attacked him? Nope

I hope I'll never have to actually experience it. If my children were in danger and I could only save them, then of course I'd do that. But if they weren't involved, then yes, of course I'd risk my life (hoping it wouldn't end, because then my children would be w/out their mom!)

Of course!! I would do most anything to save my beloved pet...Hell...I would do everything that's in my power to save any animal period! I just can't stand to see animals suffer, so yeah, I would do it no doubt!

Yes, I have. When I was a kid I went into the water to grab my little pooch when there was a hammerhead shark in the area where we were. It followed/chased me up to the shore. Literally scared the cr*p out of me, but I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

I have loved all of my pets, but no way would I have risked my life for them. I would've put myself into a heightened level of injury for them, but not my life.

Like if my house was on fire...yes, I'd go back for my cats. If I didn't then I would have to live with the fact that I might have prevented their death if I wasn't so selfish. And I don't think I could live with that guilt.
