no it isnt the pain. when I extend my feet or bend it the wound cracks open and starts bleeding again.

i have a problem when i had to repeatedly push myself out of the pool and my leg kept rubbing on the side of it so it cut and now i have a big scar and a day later i had to do the same type of workout and my leg split open yea i hurt but the only thing i could do was put a BIG bandage around it and duck tape it there and the only thing u can do is push through to pain that which weakens u makes u stronger

Well, if it bleeds when you bend your knees, then your teacher, seeing your bleeding leg, most likely won't make you go in the pool. If it doesn't bleed, then all you have to worry about is the pain, which you say isn't the problem. And if you swim slowly now, but show a lot of improvement (like faster than the other guys in the higher levels), your teacher will probably see you don't belong in that group and move you up.

untill then continue to move ur knees up and down(back and forthw/e) and dont put neosporin on it because this make the scrape harden and break easier then it still might hurt but it well be the least possble

get past the pain you wimp!

keep your knees clean so they dont get infected and it will also help to speed the healing process. a great help for healing is getting some vitiamin E capsules and using the gel inside to help heal your scratches. vitamin E is a natural healer and also antibacterial.
