What would you consider the best sound you've ever heard?
Mine is a baby's laughter. I don't have kids, I don't want kids...but I've heard them laugh or when they are learning to laugh(nephews) and it really does kick ***. it is one of the best sounds I've ever heard...
I would not admit this in person though...
I had trouble placing this question in a category, if ya think of a better one let me know...

lol, silence, that is funny but...
would "silence" be considered a sound? wouldn't that be the best lack of sound you've never heard?

The best sound I've ever heard that made me cry was hearing my daughter's heartbeat for this first time when she was in my stomach. I knew I was pregnant obviously but hearing her heart make the swish swoosh sound made it that more real. She is now 19 months old and I do love her laughter.

Children's gleeful laughter is a very enjoyable sound. I also like soft nature sounds such as water on the shore, breezes through the trees, or the sound of a loon echoing across a still lake.

Just stand on a deserted beach. The sounds of the wind and ocean away from the busy "noise pollution" we are accustomed to.

The sounds that children make are very cool but I like the sound of rain and also like being outside when its snowing very hard and you can hear nothing else but the snow hitting your jacket and your face.

I have two kids and the sound of laughter is beautiful, but my fav sound is deffinately silence!

i like the sound of wind, rain and thunder during a storm. Also I like the sound of the ocean waves.

the sound of my two year old in the morning over the baby monitor... "mummy, im awake....WAKE UP!"
or anything else that she says, but in the morning I love waking up to her. i just wish i had that much energy in the morning.
