My friend and I are choreographing a dance together, but although she's a great person and one of my best friends, she's really bad at dance! This is my only chance to do the choreography and I can't mess it up. How do i tell her that I can't work with her without hurting her feelings?

Try telling her that you'd like to spend some time on it by yourself. Say it's nothing against her--you love her--you just prefer to work by yourself because you are an independent individual. If she doesn't take that for an answer, then she obviously isn't a very good friend.

Some times you got to hurt someone feelings to get them to understand best friends hurt each other feelings all the time and get over it cause that what best friends do.

its better to tell her straight. you would still hurt her feelings anyway. theres no easy way to break somebodys heart, at least youve been honest and true as a friend.

Video tape the routine and play it back to her and point out her strong and weak points then suggest that you guys practice more to bring her up to your level and maybe she'll back out gracefully.

get a third person, and it'll make her feel out of place when you make up your own moves with the new person, and don't use her moves

tough question, even I can't answer that.....but i can tell you one thing for sure....NEVER mix work with friends. 'Friends' at work should just be treated as acquaintances and friends should never be treated as partners at work.
