Why do so many people say that Blacks as a whole..?

Question

Go around asking people for hand-outs?
Live off of wel-fare when we don't need it?
And say we use the race card so much?
They literally lump all the blacks together and say we all do these things?

And then they have the nerve to say, we aren't getting discriminated against anymore..

AND THAT WE THRIVE ON PLAYING THE RACE CARD, AT ANY GIVEN CHANCE!

Thank you! I get tired of seeing questions that start off with "Why do blacks...." It's as if the people that ask these questions think we all work with one brain. Not all black people are the same so its annoying that we all get lumped together in every question. For future reference, if you have a question about black people it would be nice to see "Why do SOME black people..."

Well some of this is a stereotype, some of this is true. I don't agree that blacks go around asking for hand-outs. I don't agree that blacks all live on welfare. I do think that many blacks use the race card all the time and for trivial matters at that.

I have a black friend who claims the police are harrasing him for stopping him at 4 a.m. while he was walking around in the bushes outside his apartment complex. His cat had gotten out and he was looking for it. A patrol car goes by and sees someone moving in the bushes and stops to investigate. He's really mad because the cops asked to see some id. He didn't feel that the police had the right to ask for this. His take on the situation is that its because he's black.

Let me give you a little piece of wisdom. It doesn't matter what anyone thinks. This is America. Its the year 2006. You can do whatever you want to do with your life, you can accomplish what ever you put your mind to. You are not being discriminated against, its america people can think whatever they want.

For the very same reason that some black people say that all white people are honkies, whities, crackers, etc. People are people, and the sooner that we realize that there will never be a time when every person, regardless of race, sex, age. etc, all agree then the better the world will be. Who wants everything and everyone to be exactly alike? What a boring world that would be. If we would all just open our minds and our hearts more, we would not care about stupid petty things like this. People are dying everyday from diseases and starvation and so many things. So if we put as much effort into those things as opposed to putting them on petty things like this, don't you think we can make a real difference?

We get literally lumped all together and it is said we are this way?

And "they" have the nerve to say WE are prejudiced!

I'm white, and have suffered for my lack of bigotism, discrimination, prejudice and racism from my "own" people. You know what? I don't care. I'm not here to please my fellow white folks, and I'm not here to answer for the ignorance of my white anticedents.

In this Day, God has called upon his white children to love his black children, and for his black children to forgive his white children.

If we're not part of the solution, we're part of the problem. We can all just continue the complaining and bellyaching, or we can get with the new program, and work together to build the Kingdom of God on earth. A Kingdom that believes and lives, "There is only one race--the human race." My black, brown, red, white and yellow brothers are busy uniting the world--one heart at a time, while y'all're still sittin' 'round complaining and bellyaching. Come on. Climb out of all that ignorance. Help us get this place together.

White people keep wanting to complain, and black people keep wanting to whine. And none of you seem to want to find the solution. Some people do not all people i hate racism and that is kind of racist to me. That is the second thing i hate is racism my best friend in the whole entire world is European and i dont care she's just a great friend and you know what i love people of all races no matter how much of a racist they may be or may not be. I have to it's god's wishes.

not bec they are blacks; its their social conditions that made them do or say such things. If whites were the ones forced into slavery before, if whites were the ones being discriminated upon, and they end up with the same conditions as the blacks after many years, they will end up same way. the question here woudl then read "why do many people say that whites as a whole...?"

many people dont say those things but those that do are just sick. Its a very contaigous virus called stupidity - sometimes it lingers too long with the person, and it progresses to full blown ignorance. Those peoploe who think these things havent had much experience around different types of black people, and probably dont even see the truth.

truthfully the "leaders" of the black community us these things to support themselves, and the media gobbles this up and it is the only picture people get, not the picture of hard working rich well to do blacks but the poor on the street drunk welfare sucking black. And so as it has been told "tell alie long enough and loud enough the public will believe it"

The worth of Blacks is appreciated by the whites only during Olympic Games, Music/ drama festivals, policing work , army & modelling. Rest of the time they are called Parasites.
