Coincidently I was watching the BBC drama with Ann-Marie Duff last night and I was wondering...why did Elizabeth not marry? It did not makes sense dynastically or politically. Do you think she was really a virgin ? Could she have been a lesbian ? Seems to me that she could have had her cake and ate it, marriage wise, if not.
