I would LOVE a bidet, fresh and clean! In the meantime, and since I rent, I keep bottled water and paper towels by the toilet. Not everyone does this, and I wonder whyyyy not??? There are paper products to rid the face of oils (press it on the face and it's gone), yet I believe most people ignore their other end. Why do people care more about a little face oil, yet ignore the "debris" that needs cleansing more than the oil? Things that make you go Hmmmm.

Absolutely true, everyone sees the face while the hind is covered. But covered or not, I say wash it every single time!

In public it's possible... grab a paper towel or two, wet it, and take it into the stall.

It shouldn't matter if one uses this "old-fashioned" way or a new, sleeker way (btw, I use both), as long as one uses WATER. Besides, you can better control the dampness when using water and paper towels. Wet Ones aren't wet enough, I like .

Well, I'm not sure about bidets - I never had the experience. I'd think it would splash things around more in some ways.

Regardless, there are plenty of hygiene items on the market today, antibacterial wipes and so forth made to cleanse the skin. Anyone that wants to stay as fresh as possible can find a way. Convenience counts some times.

It is very important to wash the hands after using the toilet because you will be using them to touch your eyes, nose, mouth, other peoples hands, and your food; and unclean hands can spread disease fast.

Hopefully you won't be using your other end to do any of the above;)

But you are right in that hygiene is important downstairs too. And even baby wipes by the toilet is a good idea to freshen yourself. Bottled water is a good idea too!

There was a study done (myth busters) that showed there are more germs on counter tops and floors than on a toilet seat. If youre touching the floors. walls, counters etc with your hands and/or not washing your hands after using the toidy and then touch your face...it only proves that your face AND hands should be washed more.

I agree 100%,when we start building our home next year,we will have a bidet in every bathroon, until that day arrives,we use hypo-allergenic,no scent wipes to clean our tushes. Toilet paper alone just doesn't cut it! I want to feel clean
and not worry about body odor!!!Good Question,i am giving you a thumbs -up!

people will see your face and the oily skin. I do clean the other part too because I break out alot when we have hot days so it will keep it dryand clean and will not bother me as bad.

I keep witch hazel in my bathroom. Keeps you nice and fresh. I am a massage therapist. Trust me sometimes when people roll over onto their stomachs. Not so fresh.
