Why are people so scared to show who is asking the question. I have my pic on here so where is yours? If being scared is not your reason then what is it? Just curious and would like serious answers.

People are all on here for a reason. Some of us have an identity they need to hide. But we are still human and can be reached. But the identity is the last thing to be discovered about a person.
For now, all I can say about myself is that I am a Rocker!!! I WILL Rock You!!!

Posting a picture strips away some of the anonymity people enjoy on the internet. Some people are just paranoid and overestimate the frequency that cyberstalking occurs with. Others are just concerned about people from their real life catching them doing something that could be used against them. There are also people who are just too lazy to go through the process of taking a pic and posting it.

Im at work and I dont have a pic of me on this computer. Im not scared. My picture would scare others and Yahoo Answers would get shut down.

I can say that I don't like the way I look. I don't think people are scared but it is more fun to make a person sometimes. Hope this helps.

I'm not scared, i just don't like people that I don't know, knowing what I look like. For security reasons. I feel safer.

Some people don't have the capability to post their pictures, others simply choose not to.
Its just a matter of choice really

Because I dont want some creepy *** stalker vibe bothering me or writing to me because Im "cute" or or "hot" or whatever and Id rather just be a cartoon for a while and anonymous. Its nice!

-to have some sense of secret
-do not want to see own photo
-think oneself is not good looking
-think oneself is too beautiful that may attract unwanted trouble
-no digital camera or equipment to do it
-don't know exactly how to do it
-don't bother to do it
-don't think it is a need
-scared that someone he/she know saw his/her comment that does not refect his/her character.
-scared that people may use the photo to do some sort of evil thing or trouble.
-scared that people may use his/her words to spread around in his/her school or work place.

My reason? I am so ugly my mom hates me and my dog bites me constantly,but thanks for making me relive all the pain again, I guess if I were beautiful like you, life would just come naturally to me.BUT, I won't hate you.
