It is when actors act without rehearsing.. I was watching the Tyler Perry play - Madea goes to jail and the actors in this play act but not line by line.. There is a word for this and I can't remember what that is called.. A word for when you act without rehearsing.

I believe that is called Impromptu (acting without rehearsing.)

The acting is called improv. With dialogue, it's "adLIB" :)
