Its easy to say what you think you are going to do, but in reality you never really know until you are put in a situation where you have to make a choice...

No. That's not how I pay people off for helping me out. If He was under His own steam then He can figure out another way, like walking towards the hostiles line. If He was wounded I'd carry Him back to our lines. Stress in battle can make some folk react in odd ways. He could change His mind once we cleared the fire line. Fatigue, the stress of people trying to kill you, the carnage; it really can add up. If He still felt inclined after we got out from under then it's His nickle, l can't take responiblity for the Dude then. Never me though, no way. I would never kill one of my own.

Ok, so he just saved my life in the battle field. Did he do it to really save my life or he just did it for him to ask me for a favor by taking he's life? Like the other people said if he's badly hurt in anyway that he doesnt have the change to survive then I probably do it but it would hunt me for life, but yet again it could be one of the best way to help a man in pain. Peace and chicken grease..

Is there a complelling reason why this mans life should end? Is he in pain? Certain death or severe dismemberment? Is there no health care near by? If so I'd seriously think about it, but I doubt I would do it.

I will check the mercy-killing laws in the area first. If they permit, off he goes. If not, I'll just use him as my bullet shield as I leave the battlefield
