well im gonna do this back to school pool party on monday and im really nervous that something will go wrong, what should i do to make it funner? i guess we could swim tan and watch a movie but what movie (im 16)? i dont wanna do a barbecue cuz im a vegetarian so ill be ordering pizza is that ok or too rude? what else can i do to make sure it goes okay?? and dont suggest those beer fest partys cuz parents would kill me

Pizza is fine. Most people like pizza than BBQ. Pizza is easy to clean up and you don't have to cook. Buy bags of chips, veggie tray, or a fruit tray to give your guest a variety to eat. Try to skip the movie. Do more games that interact with the guest so everybody can meet everyone.I like the game called "Catch Phrase." If you must have the T.V. try Scene It edition games. They are fun with a group of people. Try this website www.orientaltrading.com for some cheap pool party decorations and party favors. Have a basketball shooting contest in the pool. Or play volleyball in the pool. Have some Karaoke. Award someone for the best swimwear. Have a water balloon toss. Have everyone bring a water gun. You are young just swimming, tanning, and watching a movie can get too boring. It's back to school and you don't want everyone to tell everyone in the school the party was boring. So don't worry so much just have fun. By the way can I come? :)

I recommend a basketball and net for the pool and an arcade game simulator for the tv....today's video games are too involved, but people still love to have pac-man and centipede competitions. Parties can also be more fun when you make the guests participate...maybe tell everyone to wear a funny t-shirt or hat, then your guests will be entertained reading silly slogans all night.

Playing games at a party is always fun! A little "Twister," limbo, or Spin the Bottle. Or you can have a karaoke contest with your friends or hit a pinata for some candy. Candy is a plus! ;)

Your a vegetarian but still you are hosting a party. Think of what ever will make your guess happy. Then do it as long as your parents are ok with it.
