This has already been decided in the comics- do not walk, RUN to your local comic book store and pick up a copy of Frank Miller's classic "The Dark Knight Returns". For the record- yes, it's the same Frank Miller who did Sin City- this is one of his earlier (and definitely his most famous) work. The book covers the future life of Batman, and concludes with a final showdown vs the man of Steel.
I won't spoil it for ya regarding who won ;)

Depends...If Superman was willing to do anything then yeah he would most likely win but if he holds back, Batman has a really good chance of winning...This can be seen in the Hush storyline where Superman is made to fight Batman because of Poison Ivy

Superman is just a giant boyscout, Mr goody two shoes. Batman is so much cooler than Superman and has actually kicked Supes *** in Frank Millers The Dark Knight Returns, OK he had a robot suit and did actually die but Superman is a hero of the light and Bruce Wayne created a monster so to speak to fight in the darkness which is harder for the mind and soul, you would question yourself more. Plus Batman Begins is far better film than Superman Returns.

What!? are you kidding me? What kind of fight? if u mean brain fight: Batman.If u mean brawl fight: Superman.Overall : Batman: U know why? Becoz Superman won't hurt innocent unless they really do bad, Batman is not bad.Ok! lets put it to this, If u have ur own alternate reality Batman will win becoz he knows Kryptonite as Superman's weakness! as well as other heroes. Superman's only advantage is to move fast before Batman will get the Kryptonite.But I dont think Superman will move quickly he is always on defensive mode becoz he is a professional superhero a thinking one.Batman is more intelligent and eventually weaken superman and win the fight. Here's a recap: Batman w/ Kryptonite: Batman, Batman w/o Kryptonite: Superman...Thats it! satisfied? ur match-up is way too old ma man!

Batman will win if he has enough time to get to the Kryptonites. ( MUst have the best costume with him ). Unless Batman fights with Superman 1 on 1 in a venue where there's no tools r any kryptons then Superman will win.

all things considered,...
Batman is only a talented normal, with his gadgets and dumb luck.
Superman, on the other hand is an off world alien (technically speaking of course).
Supermans super powers are in him, as well as his super strength.
If Superman tried a cheap shot like cooking the Batman with his heat vision, the Batman would be toast in a heartbeat, literally.
oh - I'd say that in a fair fight, Superman could kill Batman with one sucker punch with his super speed in less than a blink of an eye.
The Bat goes splat - like a bug under your thumb.

Depends on who writtes the comic, ;)
Probably it would depend, if Batman could stage the fight he might have some chances, if it was more spontaneous, Superman without doubt.
But I prefer Batman, I think he's a more intresting character.
