what you need to do is go to the settings and disable auto start when you turn on you pc. or what you can also do is disable it from msconfig and take it out of the tray since these work in the background and also booting up applications.

I unistall aol software by eraseing it with a military spec file erase utility it is at http://www.cyberscrub.com also another website with software that can help is http://www.webroot.com After eraseing the offending program use a registry cleaner software to remove some of the remaining traces. After restarting your system type aol into your windows find file search bar then use the file eraser utility to cleanup what ever is left of the program at that point.

if your on a router dont login to that america online software just set your internet explorer to

download xoftspy422 and install it then run it stop the scan and click on scan settings tick every box and click on where it says >> click here to select a folder then tick the (c) thats your hard drive if you have 2 hard drives tick the 2 of them then click ok

Yeh that s happened to me several times. Try putting it into the trash bin. All else fails call the company of which you purchased the computer/laptop.

start, run, type msconfig, click ok, click startup tab, unchec aol, restart computer. if that dont work look for your startup folder in windows, and move the aol icons to the disable startup folder.

click on "my computer" then on the left hand side you will see a link that says "add/remove" click on that scroll down untilll tou see america online click on the remove. this should work.

uninstall it from add/remove programs get rid of AOHELL it sucks
