As a previous poster answered, what goes around, comes around. In the movie "Training Day" starring Denzel Washington & Ethan Hawke, one of the pivotal scenes revolves around the concept of paying it forward. The person you help today might be the person who helps you in return tomorrow. Never fall into apathy and say "This is not my business".

yes, i believe i have helped a lot of people, but i do it from the bottom of my heart and i don't expect nothing in return, i think that's what counts, if i see a homeless asking for money and if all i have is a dollar left in my pocket i will give it to him. So far i have all that i want i'm not rich or anything but i'm happy

I think the first guy is a bit confused you have to start it. You do something nice and then that person pays it forward. If everybody waits for somebody to do something for them then we are all just waiting. The point is to do a good deed and hopefully it comes back to you. If not try again and again and agian

Yes, I do believe in paying it forward. Sometimes, good things just come at you unexpectedly. This idea sounds like buddhism teaching in which encourage people to do good things to other people. When you do that, good things will come back to you in return. So, something good will happen to me if i do good things to other people.

Yes, it happened to me several times - and from total strangers from the web without asking anything in return.

It's never been done, where I live. But I've liked the idea, since the movie. I wish someone would do me afavor, that I could pay forward.

Yes, if your nice to people it will be returned. Karma, the circle of life force, coincidence, or the subconscious draw to other nice people, whatever you call it, it happens!

Yes, it is the best movie "Paying it Forward", and I believe in paying it forward.
It is another way of saying, "What goes around will always come around."
