i will admit, there are still a few artists that remember what country music is, but with acts like rascal flats, shania twain, and big and rich, i'm afraid there is little hope for country to remain a seperate and uniqe art form.

I think it's been heading in that direction since the 80's.

it ain't like it use to be, back in the Garth brooks and Allen Jackson days that was some s**t kicken songs i use to really enjoy......therz to much competition to be #1 their also mixing rock with country, so its all screwd up now.......

i think all genres experience periods where the music isn't as good as it had been. it seems to happen every couple of years.
