If it's normal cooking grime that you clean up weekly, any of these are good: 409, Simple Green and water, ammonia and water, Windex.... Really any of the household cleaners.
But if it's pretty tough grime that has built up over time, I suggest TSP (or TSP substitute). This is a cleaner available in hardware stores and home stores in the paint department, because it's often used to clean surfaces before painting. It's especially effective on greasy dirt-- to give you an idea, I have used it to clean the inside of a stove hood. Use gloves, because it's a harsh cleaner. After cleaning, rinse with a clean damp cloth or sponge so no residue or streaks will remain.
