Yes, though it essentially depends on what you mean by hear. You are more aware of it than listening to audible sounds.
Perhaps the inner voice passes though some of the same internal paths as the sounds we hear, but after the ear has heard it.
Sans food for a number of days, and your inner voice will become far move vocal. LOL.

Its a matter of great practice. To hear the inner voice you have to forget your external body. You have to concentrate to your soul. It can be achieved by meditation to know the SELF.

yes it tells me you need sugar or bread and I ignore it and wouldnt you know it when I get home Im out. or almost out...pissed didnt listen..
