I'm a few months late for my period and took numerous home tests (i have NO insurance). Its just that I feel like I am pregnant and it would be a GOOD thing if I was! Has anyone ever just "felt" like they were pregnant, and were even though the tests are coming back negative.

I have been there before!! But let me tell you your body can make you think you are pregnant when you're really not. I guess if you convince yourself that you are, then you are going to have some of those feelings. Before I actually got pregnant, I thought I was twice, the period was late and the tests were saying no. Same as you, but if you really do believe that you are then no insurance or not you need to get to the doctor, if you qualify for medicade, they will go back and cover the first visit. That is if you are. Good Luck!

I got negative result on home tests and blood tests at the doctor's office for 3 months before I found out I was actually 12 weeks pregnant. My doctor was so sure that I wasn't pregnant that she ordered liver scans and an ultrasound of my gallbladder to see what was wrong with me, I was so sick. And just to think, if the tech had just gone a little lower with the ultrasound, we would have been able to see the baby that is now my beautiful 4 year old!

Missing period is just one of the symptoms for pregnancy but there are many reasons why u would miss your period. Find out why your period might be few months late on the internet. It could be poor diet or low blood count. Are you anemic?

Also, do you feel any of the other pregnancy symptoms such as dizziness or morning sickness?

Go to a free clinic to take a test so that you can know for sure.

If you haven't had a period in a few months then I would be a bit concerned. Unless you are someone who regularly skips periods, then either you are pregnant or possibly something else that should be checked by a gynecologist. I've heard of tubal pregnancy occuuring & that doesn't always show up positive because your body isn't producing enough hcg hormones to register positive results. That would be only a worst-case-scenerio. Either way, you need to see a doctor. Maybe through planned parenthood or your local human services department. Hope everything works out!

Check your local phone book for free clinics, or contact your local health department and inquire about free clinics that do pregnancy testing.

If you get a positive result, you could apply for medicaid (if you live in the US).

Or, go to the doctor's office and pay the office visit fee. Ask for a blood test for pregnancy, that you have missed a few periods and the HPT's show negative.

Something isn't right and you need to get checked out.

How would it be a good thing? asks Mina? Well, ah, just because you don't have health insurance (which I did not either when I first found out I was preggers) doesn't mean you can't be happy. Having children is a good thing. You can always get help as far as health insurance! what the hell do you think people did 10,000 years ago when they got pregnant? I'm sure they weren't thinking how BAD it was because they don't have health insurance. GEEEZZZ. There's always gotta be somone hatin!

See a doctor, you need to know. What you are describing is what used to be called 'hysterical pregnancy'. You want to be pregnant so bad that you are convincing your body you are. Numerous home tests are silly. See a doctor, this could be a medical condition needing immediate care. Babies will come in time. Don't worry.

I know that planned parenthood is a great place to find out! I know that this specific clinic in CA, they have a trained professional staff of volunteer doctors and registered nurses. They usually go by donation (In Ca, they have state programs that can actually help with insurance!)

Your health is something that should be taken quite seriously. I'd make the effort to get checked out. Afterall, you only get one body :)
