14 Feb is Valentine's Day in western cultures.... whereas the Chinese follow the Lunar Calendar.. so that would be either Yuan Xiao during the Chinese New Year period (which is the fifteenth day of the first month - It's got a valentine's day reputation cos usually villages would celebrate this day of the new year and young men and women take the opportunity of the celebrations to meet other people and find potential matches)

or the 7th day of the 7th month (that is when you have the popular folklore of a pair of lovers meeting once a year on a heavenly bridge formed by swallows.)

Everyday is valentine day when it's a ONS be it "celebrating" with a western or chinese girl.

Unless you meant to ask, Is there a difference between the dates for Valentine's Day in the Western Solar Calendar and the Chinese Lunar Calandar?

If there is a difference, what are the dates for Valentine's day in the Western Solar Calendar and the Chinese Lunar Calendar?

Chinese Valentine's Day is on the 7th day of the 7th lunar month in the Chinese calendar.

In the US & I assume the rest of the Western world, Valentine's day is on February 14th.

I believe it's Feb 14th in both.
However in parts of Asia, I've heard that the girls give candy to the guys, not the other way around.

I think, in Japan or China, there is a day called White day, where the girls give guys candy. There is another day where the guys give the girls candy.
