I haven't tried to win any scholarships off of there but I am registered and will be looking more in depth when the next spring semester starts.

Yes, but remember you write, edit, rewrite, and submit your essay on time.
If you want a scholarship, besides good grade, you will need to write a lot of essay to get attention (unless of course it is a scholarship from a school or athletic scholarship).
