I went out this this girl. I like and I think she kinda likes me, but there were lots of moments of silence. I feel like I need to become a more exciting person to keep a girl excited or something. What do i need to do?

Juggle and spin around on your head. Actually, if she isn't a real conversationist either, you should take her to do some activity that would involve some conversation (unlike a movie) but would not depend on it (like going out to dinner).

You could do things to make yourself more interesting and conversant, read some books, start a new hobby, go on a trip.
My son is in the a Navy, stationed in Georgia and he always has something new to talk about, what he did in a class, going swimming with the Dolphins in the ocean, playing beach volley ball, working at a BLue Angels show, something new he learned about a ship or a place he has been or from a friend who went somewhere.

you need to get out there more!!...I dont really know your personality, but i think you should crack jokes and go to interesting places. If you like this girl, i suggest you take her on a date that is worth while. By that i mean not the ordinary dinner at a resaurant, but somewhere that she wants to go!.....if you feellike your boring, then she probably is too....and if you dont want to lose her, then you have to change. You cant expect something to change unless you do...

I fell asleep reading your question; try not to be so worried about it, body language says more than words, maybe she was waiting for a kiss, or a pleasant handshake.Bring it out in the open anyway, as she probably felt she was lame also, talk about it and laugh.

well, try to do something fun together... make jokes... tell her about something funny happened to u or to someone u know ....
and ask her if she have any thing she want to do with you...
if u like really like her and there was moment of silence look at her and when she sees u lookin' at her just tell her how beautiful she is...( tell her I've never seen a women as beautiful , lovely and cute as u in my whole life).. women like to hear those stuff =)

a big part of dating is the art of conversation. i say art because a lot of people talk alot but don't say much. ...BORING! alot of people's subject of conversation is themselves....BORING! in a conversation, one person talks, shares their views, experiences while the other listens. then the first person stops talking and listens while the second person talks, shares views, experiences.
Listening: hearing and understand and acknowledging what the other person is saying.
having a good conversation with your date most likely wont get you to bed but will make the date at least pleasent

Where did you go??? Maybe try going somewhere like the movies, or out dancing, or bowling or something active where the emphasis isn't on you always having to talk.

Um, keep it simple, chit chat, small talk, and gor for it with SEX (there's nothing boring about that).
And drink alcahol (if your old enough).
When you're with a girl entertain her, make her laugh. Don't take it seriously.
Sounds stupid huh? Yeah but it works.
