I want to join 1-3 clubs this year in highschool (I'm a freshman). What clubs are fun to join? What do you do in them?

It depends on what your interests and hobbies are. When I was in high school I played on the basketball team. Different clubs do different things and their are lots to choose from. Take your time and pick something you think you would enjoy. Have fun!

It is important to join things because it helps when applying for college.
Choose something that you are interested in. Different schools do different things. A language club is always fun if you take a language. They usually play some games, do some community service and eat authentic foods.
SADD is students against drunk driving. They usually do things around prom time to remind others of the dangers of drinking and driving. I am not sure what they do the rest of the year.
Ski club... they ski. I do not know if it gets cold where you live.
Some schools also have Academic challenge, science clubs, math clubs, etc. Pick one that suits your interests.

I would say join in any club while you can, become a president or vice president in the club so it could help get into most colleges since they ask for leadership skills.

I loved being in chorus. See if there is one in your school! You meet a lot of people, have fun rehearsing, and get to put on shows.

i was in interact, but i never knew what was goin on cuz they never sent me the letters, but i went christmas shopping with a 7 yr old girl who kinda reminded me of me when i was lil. that was pretty fun...and i was in fccla. that was cool...i won a speach contest and was gunna go to state, but my leader had to be a ***** and not pay for me to go, then i went to homeschool, so i didnt anyways...and i was gunna be in student council. i was running for vice pres, and a shitt load of ppl were gunna vote for me, but then a teacher found a girls binder that had an "off colored note" comparing men to snow storms and chocolate and stuff that i found off the internet and gave to her, and she radded on me, so we both got iss, so i got kicked out of the vp running, and could only run as represenative, and no one knew, and there were more ppl running for that, so i didnt get in. but for the month b4 voting, i was doing stuff with um, and it was pretty cool. i changed schools so i cant run this year, but im planning on running my jr year. def try running for student council. its fun, and its really good on college aplications. try out for office. and in middle school i was in serteen, but they didnt have it at the highschool, but it was fun. if they have that, you should try that out.

def try out the black student union. even if u arent black, they have some of the most fun tings to do.

seriously there is a recycling club at my school. thats how lame it is.
