If you have no money to start off with. Ask people for donations for a garage or yard sale. When I started my club in college we had no funds to begin with. Our club brought in different items they felt would sell at the yard sale and made about 250 after the day was complete.
Its not a lot of money but its a good way to start with little or no money at all. The carwash idea is also a good fundraiser.
Another would be to have someone sponsor to buy certain types of candies and have your club members sell them to local businesses. If you get someone to sponsor to purchase the candies it wont cost your club anything just time to sell the items.

Try G2Bay. This is a social networking site where people help each other make and save money. People post their photos, blogs, news, product and service reviews and talk about the stocks they own. Every user gets a Million Dollar Page where advertisers pay to find the right customers. You can tell all your advertisers to advertise on your Million Dollar Page. This is a fund-raising site.

See if you can get some business to allow you to use their site for a Saturday car wash. I allowed a cheer leader squad to use my real estate office for one several times. It built good will and brought a little traffic too.
